Ahhh, semi-annual sales. How I love thee. It never ceases to amaze me to think that items that seemed so unattainable a few months back are now 50% - 70% off! From Neiman Marcus to Victoria’s Secret, good deals are EVERYWHERE. Personally, given that I am about to move to a colder state (Colorado) here in a few weeks, I have actually been stalking and researching boots. Boots in the summertime, you say? Absolutely, at 50% - 70% off!!! In the span of my research, I have come across Hunter Boots, and I became utterly obsessed with the original Tall Wellington Boots collection. I love that they have them in every color imaginable, and how appropriate for that “pop of color” we all seem to love these days. And, just how UTTERLY convenient that net-a-porter.com just happened to have these pink glossy Hunter Boots on sale, at 50% off for $70!!! At first I couldn’t believe it, then decided to think about it and get them later. But alas!!!! By the time I returned to the sale, ready to purchase, my size was gone. But not to worry, dear readers, as this story has a happy ending.
I returned to the site several times afterwards, for a few days since the net-a-porter sale began, but no such luck. Mentally, I kicked myself for not buying them earlier. These boots had pretty good reviews, and overall Hunter boots seem to work well for rain or snow (although I did read that while they are waterproof, I’ll probably need something warmer and more traction for snow weather). I love that they are practical and stylish!!! I was head over heels for what appears on my computer screen as the perfect pink color… but so sad, they were no longer available for purchase…<pause>… until I checked again about an hour ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only size available was my size, so I snatched these puppies up! I could hardly believe it. I can’t wait to take them with me! Thank you, lady (fashion) luck, for being on my side tonight!

Probably with an all-black, or all-gray, or all-neutral outfit. Perfect for fall and winter!

If I didn’t get a chance to buy these Hunter boots in pink for half-off, I would probably have gotten the apple green version of these boots instead (how adorable is this color!!!!)
